176 DC or CC

I am interested in buying a new 176 DC or CC with a F115 yamaha. How is the top speed and rough water performance on these models. I am concerned that the DC captain seats are too low on the DC model. Are there any other options.

you may be able to get the 150 for that size but I am not sure. I have the 186cc and the top speed with the 115F is about 38 at 580 rpm. I also get about 4.5 mpg too.

The 176 is rated for 140hp, the 90 is adequate but the 115 is the motor of choice.Speed should be in the mid to upper 40's.Suzuki builds a 140 and I would think that should push the 176 over 50.The boat does well in the bay when it's capping,as all Key Wests are pretty dry boats.
