havent got it in the water yet to see how it would go, have to finish repairs<br />do you think engine is too much for the boat ?<br />

As long as it doesn't exceed the rating and the boat is sound it should be fine.Motor looks like it will run in really shallow water.But may have a thrust problem.

I have a '67 Silverline Deville, its rated for 110 hp. I think in '68, the rating went to 120.
