I suspect it would vary greatly from manufacturer to manufacturer, based on design. Some Aluminums may weigh more than a galvanized.
But overall difference from comparing Karavan trailers spec sheet, the aluminum is only 35-150 pounds lighter, this is comparing 2800-3100# capacity trailers with brakes. Weights were 550-650-and 709#.
