18 hp evinrude

hi i was gave a 18 hp evinrude in tade for some ac work the motor runs great but i have know idea of how old it is and what it is worth i found two numbers they are 180402d and e09092 i might have to sell can someone help me with this so i will know how advertise thanks

Take another look at the first number bassman.....180402D....I think that should be 18402D. If so, the year is 1964.<br /><br />As for worth, does the engine run? That's the big factor. Might get a hundred or two out of it.
