180 Horizon Outboard Wakeboard Bracket suggestions

I have a Four Winns Horizon 180 with a Johnson 150 Outboard purchased in 2001 and my son has decided he wants to wakeboard and not ski like the old man. I am told that wakeboarders need a higher tow line connection than than the V harness off the stern used for skiing / tubing. If true, does any one have a suggestion for a bracket that would fit the 180, and not interfere with the outboard, or the swim ladder, or the canvas top? Also - has anyone heard of a "ladder extension" for the short folding Four Winns ladder supplied with this model?
