I im running about 55mph at 5000 rpms with out a jack plate. Can anyone tell me how I can get more speed? I think I should be running in the 60's. Love the boat!

No expert but try raising the motor being carefull NOT to raise above the motors coolant intake, or to the point where handling and safety are lost,(Not sure about that motors rpm range either). Do you have a SS prop? I gained 4 mph going from aluminum to SS. Motor height and the right size prop worked best for my 17 footer with a 115, though raising a 150hp motor you will need a cherry picker with the motorloop attachment or 2-3 people. (Boy a jack plate would be nice:)).
