1860 SC Grizzly w/ 90HP ELPTO Steering Question

Hello!
New to the forum and fairly new to boating, thus my resulting question: Bought a 2007 1860 SC with Mercury 90HP motor. Runs great but has one odd quality: At speed, the steering becomes stiff and boat has tendency to veer to starboard. My guess is that it is due to torque from engine? Any way to correct? Steering at speed requires both hands on wheel to keep boat going straight.
Any insight is greatly appreciated!

Funny my new boat the steering is hard to turn to the port (left) for some reason at medium to slow speed(not idle). Not running the steering turns fine. Do you know what the trim tab is on the motor? You might try to adjust it a little, it's that little fin just above the prop.

I would like to know why mine is hard to turn left. It runs straight at speed. I usually fish alone and the floats heavy on the right side, maybe the reason?

Find your mercury owners manual. Adjust your trim tab. Adjust to where you run the boat most of the time.

Trim all the way down when taking off. Once on plane, trim up until steering is nice and loose. It shouldn't pull any direction. I just discovered the same thing on my new boat last week. I thought the motor was mounted incorrectly. LOL
