18dc seaboss seating question

I have a 18dc seaboss and wanted to mount a seat pedastal behind the 2 chaptain chairs. Is it safe too? and how would i secure it too the deck?

better use of the space is to leave the area open. If someone needs to sit there, get a folding chair (on that's made for boats).

is it possible to install a removable seat and post? does the floor around the base need to be reinforced?
