Have you looked on any of the antique outboard sites to see what this motor is worth? It may be more valuable to you if you don't try to start it. I don't know for sure-am only guessing. Some of the other guys may have actual good information. Just as a precaution, I think I'd put some oil in the cylinder and just try to turn it over to distribute the oil. May be too late, but you never know.
