I just rescued what is thought to be a 1939 two cylinder seahorse. Mechanically seems sound, spins trough, has compression.
This thing will probably run if the carb is okay.
Does anyone know what it might be worth and who might be interested in giving it a home.
Are there antique clubs aroound or movie set folks?
I don't really have room to sore it for long.

'39? That's an old one! Any pictures of it? Where are you located?

That would be a POLR-15. Longshaft version of the venerable PO-15. It began production in 1941 and ran through 1950. The 1939 model was the PO-39.

Opposed two cylinder, approximately 30-cubic inches, and 22 horsepower. Real stump pullers, with great torque! Will pop a 14-foot tinny on plane in the blink of an eye! Fun motors to run and well worth saving! Shouldn't have any trouble finding a home for it through the AOMCI.org site...
