I can't help but there's a bunch of guys over at Antiqui Outboard Motor Club, Inc that probably can - www.aomci.org. Scroll down to "Ask-A-Member".

Three components produce spark under the flywheel...coils, points, condensor. You have only one of each on your outboard. Check the plug and plug wire for juice...remove the plug, reconnect the wire, ground the plug electrode up against the powerhead, have someone turn the flywheel and watch for spark at the plug. If none, try a different plug...if no spark, check the plug wire for cracks, breaks. If it looks good you need to pull the flywheel and inspect the coil, points and condensor. You can pull the flywheel using a $12 harmonic balancer puller from an auto parts store. You can feed some small diameter rope into the cylinder to stop piston/flywheel movement to loosen the flywheel nut. Then use the puller. If the coil isn't visibly cracked, it's probably still good. Clean the point contacts and reset to the correct gap. Clean all the wire connectors/connections while you're under the flywheel. Then re-install the flywheel and check for spark again...bet it'll be there. You should get a strong blue spark that can jump at least 1/8th inch. Once you get spark back, be sure to check the lower unit for grease...white engine assembly grease recommended instead of modern hypoid oil. The guys on the Ask A Member board at www.aomci.org can give you starting instructions and tell you how to run it in a barrel safely to make sure the water pump is working. Acme Outboards on their links page has two service manuals for most of the old Evinrude/Elto outboards. Good luck...get it running and keep it as a treasure...pass it down to your kids.
