The larger mid-50's Chris Craft cabin cruisers had a single pedestal dresser/desk between the bunks in the aft cabin. Does anyone have a picture or know where I might obtain an original for a boat restoration? I have a 1958 FDMY Constellation, 42 feet in length.

I likely don't have the info you need, but we'd still love to see pix of a 1958 42' CC, no matter it's present condition.....

See if these help

The museum link has a research assistance tab. That might yield info that's of value overall, but may not have the exact info you're asking for here.

Please keep us up to date on your progress.....

Good luck w/ your PROJECT!

Deb

I am just asking have you been through the ChrisCraft web sites before ???

Your and my boat's age dont fit real well here imho unless you have a very specific pblm

If you need some direction to very, very specific Chris restore, reply

One thing for sure it is all out there somewhere

Thank you. I have been to the museum twice and been in contact with the sites you suggested. They are great but not a lot of help on this one.

This one looks like it has been redone with Queen Beds and a highboy. Thanks for the pix. It may help but we want to go back to the Ozzie and Harriet twins with a lower, wider desk/dresser.

Re: 1950's Chris Craft Cruisers

Thank you all thus far. I have been to the Mariner's museum twice and picked up what they have. The other sites don't help much with the larger cruisers.

Thanks for the pictures. That one looks like it has been redone with queen size beds and a narrower highboy which may be an answer. We decided to go with the original twins which would allow the shorter, wider desk/dresser. It also serves as a step up to the overhead porthole in case an emergency exit is needed.
