I have started dabbling in outboards, and am now completely hooked.
I live just south of Chicago, and got a free Starcraft American 16 that I received free last year, got running, did the interior, and now I use it regularly. The 1973 Johnson 65 HP has been smooth and extremely reliable now.
Not bad.
So now I am playing around with other outboards, and just received a 1952 Evinrude 7.5 HP motor. I just like the looks of these old motors, and I am fast getting the collecting bug (better than swine flu I guess).
Anyway, I have manuals for my Johnson motors (I have a 85 horse motor now too).
I seen on here someone talked about a downloadable pdf file for this evinrude motor.
I will search and email directly, but if anyone has one, let me know.
