Howdy, okiedave. I don't KNOW that this is the correct setting, but: Back in those days a company named WICO made magnetos for dozens of different companys and their points were always set at .020. If you pull your flywheel you may find, embossed on a little plate over the points, or elsewhere on the mag., "set points at .020". On some mags of the period they even made the points cover plate .020 thick, so you could do it without a feeler guage.<br /><br />Again, this is only reminiscence that may help.
