Hey, <br />I was wondering if anyone had any information on a fuel mixture for this motor. I recently was given this motor from a grandfather and have no information on this unit. Any information will be very helpful. <br /><br />Thanks Fellas

The fuel mix is 24:1, Russ. That is one quart of TC-W3 oil per six gallons of unleaded regular gas, or about 4oz. per gallon.<br /><br />Spark plugs are Champion J6C gapped at .030".<br /><br />Point gap is .020"<br /><br />That is one of the best little engines ever. Treat her well and she will purr like a kittycat.<br /><br />Good luck, and welcome aboard. :)

Thanks sir. I'm really excited about this little jewel. I am bidding on an actual owners manual on ebay. That will be :) nice to have for the motor. Thanks for the information. I will use it.

UPDATE:<br /><br /> I mixed a gallon of fuel, checked lower end grease and pulled 4 times. Fired and ran like a 2005. What a true treasure. I have always been a merc man, but this ol jewel will become my new favorite. I will be putting her on my 16 foot 1971 Loweline Flat bottom and be heading to the ol Wabash. Cannot wait. <br /><br />See Ya on the water fella's.

Where on the Wabash do you go and what do you go after? I live in Plainfield, IN. I've never fished the Wabash.

I fish just north of Lafayette. There is a little town called Americas. I fish from River Junction to Americas. If you look on map you will see where the Tippecanoe River and Wabash join. There are several wonderful holes along there. I mostly fish for Catfish after dark or early morning. I tell ya once that ol river gets in your blood it hard to get out.

That is an area that I would like to explore. I am a fly fisherman and I've been wanting to check out the Tippecanoe smallmouth bass. If you would, please contact me TTravis@Surf-ICI.com. I have some questions like where the boat public ramps are and how far up the Tippecanoe would I be able to get with my small boat and 3 HP Lightwin. I have a larger boat but the smaller would probably be better for that area. The guides up there would have me believe that the Tippecanoe is only accessible by their drift boats. I have a Gheenee Classic which is like a 16' fiberglass square back canoe but a little wider and sturdier.
