Anybody know where I can find the value of working 1955 50hp Johnson Super Seahorse. I really only needs a paint job.

Earliest 50 was 1958. It was a V-4 Behemuth. Probably not a lot of value, a few hundred, tops. Give us a model number so we can confirm the year.

Very few people looking for the old V450s, and there are plenty to be had for those that do want them. Due to their thirst for petroleum distillates, they are pretty much relegated to those looking for a vintage motor to adorn a vintage boat, or someone looking for a cheap 50hp. They're not bad motors, but there are certainly better motors in that size range...<br /><br />- Scott
