Re: 1955 johnson 10hp model#qd-16

i bought the same motor at a garage sale for 45.00 with a tank. i have rebuilt the carb, changed the impellar, replaced the gas lines on tank and motor, did a link and sync, repaired the leak on the tank, derusted the tank, changed the lower unit oil all with the help of the people on this board and the parts manual i bought off of ebay. it runs great and planes my 12ft. alum v bottom boat with 1/3 throttle. beats the heck out of 1,600.00 for a new motor!

I belive it is upside-down even with the rim of the carb body casting.<br />Not the biggest deal, since the high speed circuit is adjustable anyway.
