If you've got anything to work with, the best bet if you have trouble finding a new one is to get yourself a pair of sewing scissors, a hole punch, and some gasket material. Having the original gasket as a pattern, even partially, is a plus, but sometimes you can use the castings as a pattern - IF you know what holes do what.
- Scott

Chinewalker- good idea, especially as I also thought of it! lol

What kind of material? Should it be heat resistant exhaust gasket material with metal?

Nope - regular hardware store gasket material will be fine. There is a fair amount of heat involved, but it is also sandwiched in between the metal castings which acts as a heat sink, plus the hottest areas are drenched in water from the cooling system, so it never actually gets hot enough to burn the gasket. Use something with a bit of thickness to it - a little thicker than what you took out of there initially (to compensate for compression of the original gasket). Not sure on the actual thickness. , maybe .040" - .050"

- Scott
