1955 sea king

i have a 1955 sea king made by montgumery ward and i need two things.the first is this outboard water cooled. and where can i find a complete carb kit or carborator for it

Monkey Wards never made their motors. Gale probably made yours and put Sea King on the hood. How many HP? Some parts may sill be available depending on size. Gale was an offshoot of Johnson/Evinrude.

Yeah, Willy's dead on. That's based off earlier Johnson TD/TN series engines. Which were really excellent given how long they survive.<br />The water pump is hiding behind the propeller, but it doesn't have a normal impeller like a modern outboard. If it's working and cooling the engine you can safely leave it alone.<br /><br />Carb kits are unavailable. You'll have to make your own gaskets, etc. There's a merc float that can be made to fit your 5hp: Click here.<br /><br />Mix 24:1 87 octane gas and TC-W3 outboard oil!<br /><br />Hope this helps!
