Hello,
One of the "parts" motors that I picked up to put my 1957 evinrude lark back in the water was another 57 lark, complete enough to not take parts from but instead also fix.
The real issue with it is the color. Someone took the time to take it all apart and paint it bright metal flake pink.
Its awful, it makes me sad every time I look at it.
I want to see what the 57 trim looks like if I do a variation of the 56 colors on the cowl.
To that end, does anyone know reasonably close off the shelf match in rattle cans?
I need the charcoal grey, aqua white, and polychromatic grey. I would prefer not to waste the quality match stuff on this experiment if I can get close in the cheap stuff.
Easily available near me are Rustoleom and Krylon. There are a couple of auto parts stores that do match in a can but that is much more expensive and I dont have sample anyway.
