I have recently acquired what appears to be a 1957 Bowman 14ft that is 100% alluminum and is in beautiful shape with a perfect little trailer that is also very nice.
The design of this particular boat is such that the front section is seperated from the back, there are two areas for people to sit, and it looks like the back original fold down seat is in very good shape, front is missing. The title says 1957 and the manufacturer says SCT, however the boat has the original Bowman insignia on both sides near the stern.
I have been unable to find this design anywhere else or in any of there older model books, and seems after 57 they mostly did fibreglass.
I am wondering if anyone has knowledge of this seemingly very rare little boat, and any details about it, or what it might be worth as it sits or fully restored?
Thanks
