Some (not all) NAPA stores carry solid core plug wire (7 mm). It's amazingly cheap, something on the order of 10 cents per foot.

Are you talking about the boot for the spark plug end of the wire? OMC / BRP sells one as p/n 0581027 which comes with a spring insert, list price is under $4.

Mallory Marine has solid core wires with boots for specific applications, "universals" in stock lengths, bulk wire and boots separately. See the link below. Good luck with that great old motor!

Yeah - I pay 60 cents a foot at my local Johnnyrude dealer.

Hey guys, thanks for the info. I actually went to tractor supply store and found a universal set of four. Price was 10.00.
