1957 Johnson jw-13 3hp is 75 psi enough??

Working on a 1957 Johnson jw-13 3hp for my godfather. Here is what I know about it so far.. Compression is at 75lbs even on both pistons. Is 75lbs enough?? If it is I need order up a carb rebuild kit, impeller, lower unit seal kit, and rebuild the ignition.. No spark on lower piston...

Sure, the JWs aren't going to produce high compression readings. If it is even, you are good.

Thanks High Trim I was not familiar with the original specs for compression. I will tear into this one later today and keep you posted...

Just so you know, there are no specs for compression but I agree with High Trim.
