I just bought a boat that came with a 1957 Johnson Seahorse 18, the two gears at the pivot point of the tiller handle has broken teeth. Does anyone know where I can get replacement gears for the tiller handle and what all years would use the same parts? Or am I just SOL?

Are those gears the sharp pointy type, OR the rounded off knobby type? I may have a couple shaft and gears (knobby) left in my remaining stock. If I have the wrong length shafts (measure yours), the gears can usually be removed/changed over. PM me with your email address and I'll see what I have.

Thanks Joe, It has the rounded knobby type. I have found and ordered the inner one but I still need the outter gear (the one closest to the twist throttle) PM sent.

If Joe cannot help, I keep a healthy stock.
