I run a 1957 35hp evinrude that runs good and I've got three '58 parts motors - one is a Lark.
question: Anyone know if there's a good book or website for researching the design changes from 1957 through the 60s? I'd like to learn all the details, but for now I'm primarily concerned with the 1960 (?) Lark II. I've got a chance to buy one (that runs) for a good price.
also, if all other factors are equal (prop, load, wind, etc) could I expect a noticeable difference in power or speed w/ an extra 5hp? 20% increase sounds like a lot, but I'm skeptical.
Thanks!
