mod# 50514<br />Starflight V4<br />Gear ratio 17:29<br />Prop 3 blade, 13 dia. x 13 pitch<br /><br />I need thrust washer for lower unit. <br />would also like to find the cap (skeg) for this unit as there has been a repair or two scince 1958!<br /><br />Also I have been told but do not know for certain that they were the same (lower unit) from 1958 through 1962 50hp through 100hp can some one confirm or shoot this down?<br /><br />I had lower unit repaired last year, told the guy "fix it I'll go $500 U.S. and ask no questions" well he did not replace the old bearings charged me $150 U.S. and said it passed the presure tests. I'll do it myself this time! I have found the bearings at a local bearing shop. I have e-mailed the 3 most popular sites recomended on this board with no responce (yet).
