I have changed all of the coils etc in my 1958 35 HP Seahorse. All I have to do now is put back the flywheel, but I don't have the torque limits. It would seem from the secret files that they should be 100 - 105 ft/lbs for other motors. I would just like to be sure.

All the best

My specs say 60-65 ft lbs. Don't over torque it.

60 ft /lbs for you. They did not change it to 105 ft/lbs until the 1960/61 40hp.

1960 to 1961 is when they used a bigger taper on the crankshaft.
