Does anyone know of a link where I can purchase a new shifter linkage for my boat, and which one I need, there are so many made for the johnson motors I dont want to buy the wrong one.

1958 Johnson Super SeaHorse 35HP
1962 LoneStar 16ft Deep Hull

The controls up by the steering wheel is a Evinrude Sampler, or maybe Evinrude Simpler, im not sure on that one,

Please explain "linkage". Or go to www.marineengine.com and look at the diagrams. You can order the stuff there too, if still available.

BTW, that would be "Simplex". Johnson calls it "Ship Master" Same thing.
