Hello , Great Fourm.

I've just obtianed a 18 Fastwin 1502 that I think is a 1959. Came with the pressure tank and line . The pinon gear is missing two teeth, the other gears seem fine not worn or rounded. Can any one tell me what the part number is for the pinoin is? As I would like to replace it and not change the lower unit

Also will most OMC short shaft 15hp - 25hp ,1957-1977 ,lower units interchange with this 18 hp Evinrude?

Thanks
Wally

That is not the complete model number. 1959 was 15028 and 15029.
Not only that, if it is one of those models, we need the serial number too. There was a mid-year change in the gears.
