Basics first. Do a compression test, spark test ( should jump a 1/4 " open air gap ) and then get into the carb repair and ect.

As mentioned, check compression first. If it has good compression, most everything else can be addressed with a little time and probably less than $150 in parts.

Roger, try too keep all of your questions regarding this particular motor on one thread. It will be a lot easier for future readers to follow your progress. The compression is fine, which only leaves spark and fuel. You should be able to get a bright blue spark capable of jumping a 1/4" gap. A spark plug gap tester can be had for about $5 at the auto store. If you have weak, or inconsistent spark you'll need to pull the flywheel and inspect the ignition. If you have good spark all that remains is fuel, in which case you probably need to rebuild the carb. Use the links we've provided in your other threads to walk you through the job.

I am Hoping to have some pics for this Motor when I do the Carb cleaning and Float replacement. Sorry I am New to this site and Its been a Great Help. I have One other Thread out there on the Throttle linkage but No real help yet.

No problemo. I posted a response to the linkage post. There should really only be one or two linkages along with the 2 nuts that hold the carb on the powerhead. Once they're removed, the carb should come right off so it can be cleaned/rebuilt.
