I know how nice it is to have photos to look at, so I'm including some of the fourteen footer that I've had for a few years now. The pic of the truck is how I brought it home from Wisconsin to Cape Cod, with the '56 Evinrude in the bed and those original oars! The shot of the rooster tail is running the 30 Mariner I just picked up. Safe boating!

I know how nice it is to have photos to look at,

fiftiesoutboards... Yes it is and your boat and motors!

Thought I'd also share these pictures of this registered 1959 Model F, a nice find. I took the pictures this past fall, as it was for sale. The boat has minor regular wear and weathering but it's 100% original. Seats are air sealed and braced. It's very rare to find these boats not altered or drilled on.

Someone else was selling the motor and put it on the boat.

The dark stripe inside the boat is a shadow from a power line above.

And more pictures... because these boats are built second to none.

Re: 1959 Model F Pics

Thanks for posting all the pics. I hadn't seen one without the optional foredeck that mine came with. I never explained how I found the '59 on eBay from the original owner who had stored it for over thirty years indoors after he moved to Alaska. I paid a fair bit for it ($1500), but that included an excellent '56 Evinrude 15 with tank and some spare parts, and the unmolested (except for some snaps for a custom cover) boat and oars. It has indeed proven to be a solid, capable boat. I haven't regretted the purchase one minute. 50's

A update on my above post... I found out yesterday the man who was selling the motor decided not to and then he also bought the boat and trailer, as the rig looked so nice. I was told he restores old cars and will keep the boat as is, knowing value. I'm glad this boat has a good new owner.
