My 1959 motor runs just fine but gets hot because the impeller is shot. There is no water circulating at all. Would like to find a source for parts for this old timer as well as a manual and or parts list.

Can anyone help with this? I hate to see it relegated to being a decoration.

The Scott guy at "ask the scott guy" can surely help.
Sierra lists impellers for 54-58 5 hp. You also may find help at www.aomci.org Antique Outboard Motor Club.If you can find an oldtimer outboard mechanic in your area they may be able to help.
Most places won't even do the older E/J motors from before solidstate ignitions.

Thanks for the info. found Sierra on the net after some searching. Still looking for a manual though. Have an old crotchety local guy who can do it but only if I can't. So far, it doesn't seem too tough.

They are fairly easy. It is mounted in the upper part of the leg. Just keep track of the order the parts come out of the pump. In a pinch you can also pull the impellers out and swap the motor impeller with the bail o matic impeller if one is better than the other.
