I Have A Great Running 1960 10hp Evinrude Short Shaft, Manual Crank It Shifts Good And Stays In Gear! I Need To Sell It But I'm Not Sure What A Motor Like This Should Go For. I Tried Finding Some Kind Of Blue Book Value Guide But There Is Nothing For One This Old.

It's 50 years old. No way to even guess value.

Try craigslist or eBay. Ask $300 and settle for what you can get.

Where I live, I'd put it in at $350 and take no less than $250. Condition dependent of course. If it looks like junk that's what people will think it is.

Re: 1960 10hp Evinrude

I sold a '62 Evinrude 10hp last year for $400 and a '62 Johnson 10hp also for $400 through our local on line ads. The problem with yours is that the 1960 Evinrude's are one of the ugliest years ever made!! (in my humble opinion!) Which might sway folks. It depends on where you live. I wish I had more 10's to sell as folks love em up here. I find selling some engines helps fund my hobby of repairing and running the older ones and justifies my time in the garage to my wife :)

Just hop on ebay and type in :10 hp outboard.
There is a 1959 10 horse Johnson at auction right now with 4 days to go.so far it has been bid up to $152.

IMO - eBay is the worst judge of outboard value. I put no stock in its values. Also you have to factor in $100 for domestic shipping. More if the seller soaks you for a homemade shipping crate that will probably fail.
