1960 60HP Sea King Outboard

I just purchased a 1960 Sea King 60HP outboard with controls for a song (75.00) That said, I've built a classic 17' skiff/fishing boat that I'll attach a picture of here. First, I'm wondering if this is too much motor for the boat and secondly, I'd really like to put a tiller handle on this instead of setting up a console and putting more things on it that could go wrong. Does anyone know what tiller handle would be compatible with this engine?
