I am looking for all the orginal specs for a 1960 Alumacraft FD. I am new to this site and by utilizing a few of the previous post I was able to find the HIN which unbeknown to me was located on the transom knee brace. After calling Alumacraft and speaking with Debbi, I was informed that my Alumacraft was a 1960 FD model. Needless to say, I now need to re-register the boat properly. It currently has a 1998 Mercury 25 HP O/B on it, I thought before that this would possibly be overpowering her. After review of a few more post, I see alot of mention that this model is actually rated for an 40 HP O/B. I was wondering if someone had all of the original specs. or possibly an old owners manual that listed all the models and specs for this year model. I plan to do some restore work on her, and turn her into a Bass catching machine. Any help and information on this year model would be greatly appreciated.
