I have the above motor with a few problems. First I checked the compression and came up with 55 lbs in each cylinder. Will it run well with this low compression or is a complete rebuild in order? If it needs a rebuild would I be better off getting another used motor instead of dumping alot of money into this. Second is the fact that when I had it running (poorly) it wasnt putting out any water. Where does this thing "pee" from? The impeller loked OK and the water tube seemed to be hooked up OK.
Third is part availability. Taking off the powerhead the 1st thing I noticed is the driveshaft seal is broken. I cant find a parts diagram or list for this old of a motor. Any ideas?
I have a manual but its pretty vague.

55 pounds is a bit low,but fine for these engines. It does not pee, all the cooling water comes out of the exhaust.
Parts manuals for these oldies are on eBay all the time, usually for less than $10.
They usually come with blown up graphics of every parts group.
