I have been trying for a few days to get spark in the engine.

Took off flywheel and stator.

-New wires, 7mm copper core

- Tested both coils. 0.5oms at primary and 7000k and 8000k oms at secondary.

- Reset points to 0.020 with feeler gauge. Cleaned with contact cleaner and witness paper was clean.

- Maretted both vacuum cut off wires as well as kill switch together.

Still nothing. Have a spark tester and still nothing.

Any chance both condensers are fried too?

Kill switch wires should be connected to STOP the motor.-----If those are connected together there will be no spark.-----Wiring can be confusing I say.

The spark, just tried to run it. Lots of back firing. For the fuel pump/diapram cut off. Does it need to be wired together or open.

Got it fired up. Only ran it for 20 secs as I don't have the lower end done and didn't want it to over heat.

Attached is the picture of the cut out switch

That is a cut off switch and stops spark to one cylinder during high vacuum.----Has nothing to do with a fuel pump diaphragm either.----Find the wiring diagram and get this corrected.
