I think you mean RDS-22, Mr. Tate.<br /><br />For harness and controls to fit, I suggest you contact an outboard dismantler, like tcoutboard.com.<br /><br />Good luck. :)

Is that an electric shift you have there, Mr Tate, or a mechanical one? The mechanical has the common shift lever on the starboard side, while the electric has nothing there. If it's mechanical, you can get a new set of controls if you wish. Just make sure they come with the Pre '78 OMC cables. I think Iboats can fix you up.<br />The steering is another story. There's a couple modern setups that can work depending on if you have a splashwell. The old fashioned way to do it was with cables and pulleys, but it's kind of a lousy way to go because it can be finicky.
