I just aquired a 1960's larson about 16-18 feet long. The boat is in good shape other than the transom. The transom wood has rotted and the fiberglass has been cracked. I have never done fiberglass work on a boat before. Can anyone help me out on replacing the transom? This is such a neat old boat that I dont want to scrap it. Heck all it needs is a transom and some TLC, then it will be ready to go.
Also, does anyone know where I can find information on these old boats? I was wondering what engines, paint, options were offered on these boats. Thanks for the help.
