I am looking for parts catalogs, owners manual and shop manual for my 1961 40 hp model 35525. The Evinrude site does not go back that far.
I found some books for "40hp Big Twin" but the model number is not the same as mine and I do not know what "Big Twin" means.
Are there significant differences in the model numbers for a given year with the same hp? I know some are electric shift etc.
Obviously I would like to find the model specific books.
I checked ken cook but the cost for the parts, shop and owners manual is around $100.00.
Not a lot really for the info but a lot when money is tight.
Any info on this motor would be appreciated.
