Hello all,<br /><br />My father just gave me an old Sears Johnboat with an Evinrude Fisherman motor on it. This is my first boat/motor. Someone from another forum gave me some basic information about the motor but I am now looking for a source for parts.<br /><br />I don't really need anything particular, that I know of. My dad said the water pump was bad and he gave me a new impeller to put in. When I took it apart as far as I could at the time, the impeller there looked fine. When I pulled it from the pump housing, the tines all sprang straight out so they don't have a 'memory' of a shape to hold. It looked to me like someone had put form-a-gasket in it at sometime and it had blown out in several areas. Anyway, I put new forma-a-gasket in and put it back together. As soon as I get the proper fitting to hook up the gas tank I will run it in a garbage can to see if it is pumping water.<br /><br />I am currently bidding on a repair manual on e-bay and if I fail there I have found a source from this site to order a new one.<br /><br />Can someone please give me a source for parts for this particular motor?? Looking for a source for like tune-up parts, props, water pumps parts, and other parts that tend to 'wear out'. <br /><br />Thanks very much,<br />Mike
