I ws just wondering if i could use a two fuction one lever control or should i stay looking for the oringal one? and do you guys know were to find one of the oringals if need be?

do you guys know anywere I can get parts for my control box? It's a evanrude simplex box and not the one with the round nobs for the control the on after that. Also were do I get cables for my 1961 johnson? I have the shift cable but I need the throttle. thanks guys.

Cables are as near as your local dealer - you need cables for the pre 1979 controls. Also likely to find the parts for the box there, too. If not, send me a PM - I have some parts boxes in the shop...
