1961 evinrude lark 3 40 hp power tilt ?

did they make a power tilt for that engine. if not can i retro fit one? has anyone done that? thanx g

If it was my motor, I would attempt to build my own using plans available at this link:

http://www.dillon-racing.com/jackplate/index.htm

Also, if all you want to do is "tilt" and not "trim", there may be less expensive options since the strength of the system would have to satisfy a much lower requirement. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.
