1961 evinrude lark 3 prop question

I need to get some information on what prop would be good for my motor. I have spun 2 props that were original from my 1961 40HP lark 3 evinrude. I need to replace one but do not know what to buy please let me know!!!

Why not get those two props re-hubbed? Might not be any prop shops in Hickory but another forum member may be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck!

do you think it would be cheaper to get them rehubbed instead of new prop.

Should be cheaper than purchasing NEW props unless shipping/handling charges run the cost up. Any used OEM props you might be able to find on eBay, Craigslist, etc. will probably have the same problem of old, rotten rubber in the hubs. BTDT with a 1959 Johnson 35hp. Good luck!

You can also use the prop finder here on iboats.com to find a new prop, if that's your decision. They aren't horribly expensive for that engine.
