How do I hook up a steering system to this motor?

I don't have the capabilities for a pulley system but a regular rotary steering, which I have. Just can't figure out how to attach it to the outboard.

It has been a while since I saw one of those, but if my memory serves me well than this engine does not have a tilt tube that you can stick the end of your cable through.
You must use a shorter steering cable and attach it to a special transom steering cable support, which is called an" outboard clamp block"The very end of the cable goes directly to the steering hookup bar on the outboard. this is what it looks like.

I did not see this part on in the iboats store.but it is widely available.

Thanks for the info. That will most likely work. Maybe I can have a friend weld something similar and save some money but it looks great. Thanks for the help.
