1961 seahorse 5.5 hp sediment bowl ?

My neighbour has this motor, and this spring the little bracket that holds the sediment bowl in place went awol, we can't find it any place! Can this part still be bought or does anybody know where we can get a used one? The local dealer just snubs his nose when you go looking for old stuff parts! TIA

Try tcoutboard.com, rider. They should have it used.
