1962-63 9.8 hp Mercury 110 powerhead rebuild

Thanks for the help on figuring out what hp my motor was and what model it is.This post is about rebuilding the powerhead on the 110.I briefly went online to find info for a rebuild kit or just the pistons and rings for the 9.8 hp.I decided to rebuild this motor because there seams to be some discoloration on the exterior clyinder head.I think it's been overheated and I'm worried about the pistons,rings and cylinders.The guy I bought this from got it started in water but it started hard.It ran fine but was only able to run it a short time because the inpellar wasn't working.I'm probably going to have a mechanic look at this next month.So my question is,Is there a rebuild kit for this motor?Or am I going to have to buy the parts separately.I checked with seaway marine and they had the pistons for $91 a piece.Is that the going price for them?Any leads would be great! Remove the bypass cover ( 3 screws ) and have a look at the pistons and rings.---I have found bad crankshafts on those , so do not buy any parts untill the motor is fully inspected.

They are also notorious for bad drive shafts at the water pump, pitted/ rusty, carbon steel. do some homework. when running well the are beast.
