I have a 1962 Evinrude lark 4 tiller handle that is running great.. However I could not get it to idle for the life of me. then I noticed that the idle stop screw was broken. Then I noticed ether was no control shaft idle stop or roller pin or a throttle bushing for that matter. So my question is are those all the things that I need in order to get the throttle stop to function properly? Is there supposed to be any sort of grove or notch in the shaft for the control shaft idle stop to fit into or stop in? Also a couple of the teeth (the gears) are broken on the throttle shaft where the tiller handle and the shaft going into the housing meet. Where could I get replacement and does anyone know the part number for those shaft pieces.

and finally I can not seem to get a very good picture of how this functions or what its is supposed to look like when everything is in place. If anyone has or could take a picture of what this is supposed to look like from underneath I would be ever so grateful!

And thanks to F_R for your help thus far!

Thanks,

Tim
