1962 Johnson 40hp Electramatic, need wiring diagram

Hey, does anyone have the wireing diagram for a 1962 40hp Johnson Electramatic??......it turns over and runs fine, just cant figure out the electronic box........ <br /><br />Thanks.

Welcome to Iboats!<br />The best one is the one in the service manual. But here's one I made up for my '62 28hp:<br /> Click here.<br /><br />It doesn't have the electramatic stuff, but it should be very similair to your engine.<br /><br />Service manuals (these are better than the Seloc one):<br />TheOutboardWizard<br />Mastertech<br />Marine Engine<br />Ken Cook <br />Sometimes they turn up discounted on ebay too, but right now I only see '59 and '66 40hp ones.

tried your link unable to get the page i have that same motor and can't figuire out the wiring for the generator 1962 40 hp johnson omatic ?
