1962 Lark 40HP Questions

I have a 1962 Evinrude model 35531M 40HP Manual Shift and need parts for the lower unit

I need the pinion gear and this uses 2 bearing for this gear a roller on the gear and a needle just above that

I got an Ebay unit for an early 60,s and it's not the same, mine is a 2 tube water supply and the one I bought is a 1 tube

I did however get good forward and reverse gears, shift lever, dogs and yoke that all fit but the pinion is too short and won't work

I also got a service manual but it don't have parts numbers so I can't compare a buy

I seen here on a post that showed a 1962 40hp pinion part number as being 308692 is this a correct number for mine and what would the pinion roller bearing number be also

I hope this isn't against the rules asking this, I know people want to sell books ... I have a part book coming, I just spotted a gear and wanted to get it coming if it's right
